Singer Osh breaks down in emotional video after his dad dies of coronavirus


Singer Osh has informed fans that his father has passed away after catching coronavirus.

The star bravely opened up about his loss, while imploring fans to follow official guidelines regarding lockdowns and self-isolation.

In the emotional clip, the rapper breaks down in tears and says: ‘I never got to see my dad, I never got to say bye.

‘He was in hospital by himself.

‘Don’t make anyone else feel this pain. Anyone’s who’s feeling this pain, I’m sorry.’

Sharing the video, the 24-year-old wrote: ‘Those who know me. Know that’s impossible to EVER see me in this way.

‘I’m posting this so you lot understand this COVID-19 is NOT A JOKE.

‘4 days that’s all I have to say. 4 days ago my dad was in my house. PLEASE STAY IN YOUR HOUSE. I LITERALLY BEG YOU.’

The rising star, who comes from South London and signed with Columbia Records in 2018, is known for songs such as My Yé Is Different, Excuse Me Miss and Talk To Me.

At the time of writing, there were 1,245,636 cases of coronavirus around the world.

So far, at least 69,321 people have died after catching the virus.
