Singer M.I.A. leaves fans furious as she says she’d ‘choose death’ over getting a coronavirus vaccination

SINGER M.I.A has sparked fury amongst fans after saying she would “choose death” over getting a coronavirus vaccine.

In a series of tweets, the 44- year-old revealed she regretted having to vaccinate her 11-year-old son Ikhyd before he started school and made it very clear how anti them she was.

In one post, the star – real name Mathangi Arulpragasam, wrote: “If I have to choose the vaccine or chip I’m gonna choose death.”

Surprised by her attitude, one follower wrote: “Beyond irresponsible and reckless.”

Another added: “This tweet has disappointed me more than your last 2 albums.”

When someone questioned her, she explained: “Most of science is in bed with business.

“Business is in bed with banks, banks are in bed with tech, techs in bed with us, we’re in bed with corona. Corona is in bed with science. So on… the best is prevention.”

Discussing her own experiences, she continued: “Yeah in America they made me vaccinate my child before the school admission. It was the hardest thing.

“To not have choice over this as a mother. I never wanna feel that again. He was so sick for 3 weeks then Docs had to pump him with antibiotics to reduce the fever from 3 vaxins.”

She added: “As an adult you have choice! By then you’ve built your immune system. You have a choice as an ‘adult’ wishing you all good health.

“Don’t panic you are ok. You are not gonna die. You can make it without stressing the medical systems. Just breathe. You are going to be ok. You can make it through without jumping in the frying pan. You are fine. All the vaccines you’ve already had is enough to see you through.”(sic)

Her comments come as the coronavirus deaths in the U.S. passed 1000 on Thursday – with more than 200 fatalities recorded in a single day for the first time Wednesday.

The record U.S. death toll came as the total number of people infected with coronavirus in the U.S. passed 69,000, as hospitals prepared for even more cases in coming weeks.
