Susan Boyle makes an emotional return to Britain’s Got Talent to mark 10 years since her first audition, and she seems particularly overwhelmed by the occasion.

The 58-year-old Scottish singer stunned the judges’ way back in 2009 with her rendition of I Dreamed A Dream, which turned her into a worldwide viral sensation overnight.

Boyle kicks off the next episode of Britain’s Got Talent to mark the tenth anniversary, performing the track once again for judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon.

After Boyle performs, with dramatic zooms aplenty, the judges and audience give her a standing ovation, before Simon Cowell greets her onstage.

Heading to comfort Susan, Simon says: ‘Still got the magic Susan, haven’t you?

‘Thank you for coming back.’

Boyle then joins hosts Ant and Dec behind the curtain, where she remarks how they ‘haven’t changed a bit’ since 2009.

‘Oh you can come again,’ Ant replied. ‘Come whenever you want.’

The singer finished as runner-up in the third series of Britain’s Got Talent, with dance troupe Diversity being crowned the winners.

Boyle recently competed on America’s Got Talent: The Champions which pitted numerous stars of the reality show worldwide against each other, but she lost out to magician Shin Lim.

A British version of The Champions has been confirmed, with it unknown whether Boyle will potentially compete once again.

Britain’s Got Talent continues on Saturday ITV at 8pm.
