Following the finale of Celebrity X Factor this month, mogul Simon Cowell will be back on our screens for the series’ next installment. For the first time ever, ‘X Factor: The Band’ will start on ITV tonight, where groups will battle it out to be crowned the next pop sensations.
Over the course of his career in music, Simon Cowell has mentored many of the world’s most successful bands.
Megastars One Direction, Fifth Harmony and Little Mix all began as bands on the stages of Simon’s talent shows.
Given the impressive track record of Simon’s shows, the latest installment in the X Factor franchise has the potential to propel one lucky group to stardom.
Simon will be returning to the judging seat for what is sure to be another whirlwind series.

“So there are tantrums, tears and fights, which is all part of the drama.
“My life is really odd. Every girl wants to be number one and they’re very territorial.
“I like the fight because otherwise, I’d have a dull group of girlfriends.”
Since becoming a father in 2014, Simon has said fatherhood has changed his perspective.
He told the Daily Mail: “People have asked me if I have changed since I have had Eric and of course you do, you can’t help it.
“In a very positive way you start, particular now he’s four, looking at the world through his eyes as well, which is fun because we get to watch great movies together!”
