Filming was well and truly underway for Netflix’s new political drama Anatomy Of A Scandal in Manchester.

And on Thursday, Sienna Miller looked in good spirits as she flashed a smile while arriving at the John Rylands Library Research Institute, converted to the House Of Commons for the television series.

The 39-year-old, who plays the role of Sophie Whitehouse, looked sensational in a dark green jumpsuit.

A chic brown coat was effortlessly slung over her shoulders while she carried another casual black jacket in her hands.

Anatomy Of A Scandal is a sexual consent drama based on the bestselling 2017 novel of the same name by Sarah Vaughan.

It tells the story of a high-ranking Westminister politician James (Rupert Friend), who is accused of rape by an aide.

While his wife Sophie believes he is innocent, a barrister named Kate prosecuting the case (Michelle Dockery) believes James is guilty.

Aladdin actress Naomi Scott will play the role of the aide.

Netflix describes the six-part series as ‘an insightful and suspenseful series about sexual consent and privilege’.

Director SJ Clarkson is helming the project, while The Undoing and Little Big Lies’ David E.Kelley will serve as showrunner, writer and executive producer.

Meanwhile, Sienna recently praised the ‘grace and dignity’ of the late actor Chadwick Boseman, who donated a portion of his salary for 21 Bridges to her.

Following Boseman’s death aged 43 in August, Miller revealed that he had topped her wages to what she had originally asked to be paid using his own salary.

Speaking recently on The Graham Norton Show, the actress says: ‘We became close friends and I didn’t really want to bring it up, so I wrote him a letter to thank him.

‘He said, “You got paid what you deserve and what you are worth.”

‘That was so validating from a man I respected so much. He had grace and dignity – it wasn’t flashy, he did it because it was fair.’
