Sienna Miller and Suki Waterhouse won’t forsake style for the sunshine at Glastonbury

Hot weather but make it fashion (Picture: Getty)

Suki Waterhouse, Mary Charteris and Sienna Miller seem so set on showing off their fashion credentials at Glastonbury that they’ve decided to keep their coats on.

Despite the 29 degree weather. In the UK. In June.

We appreciate a fashion moment girls but when we get this weather in the summer season, make the most of it.

Suki was pictured on Friday wandering around the festival site in a leopard print dress and black leather jacket with a matching animal print trim; she was joined by her sister Immy who wore what appeared to be a semi-sheer plastic red jacket.

We hope they had their mini deodarants in their handbags.

Sienna Miller was not better though, wearing a red trench coat over her cream jumpsuit – does she know cream probably isn’t the best colour for Glastonbury if she ever wants to wear that outfit again?

Meanwhile, Alexa Chung also sported a trench coat with a gingham lining and a white jumpsuit with wide legs and frills.

Don’t say we didn’t warn you, girls.

Socialite Mary Charteris however seemed slightly more suited for the weather.

The model kept her denim jacket sleeveless and paired with a lace bikini-style top although we can’t imagine that denim was comfortable as the temperatures rose.

The weather is set to be in the high twenties across the weekend although Sunday 30 June may be cooler with a low 21 expected according to the Met Office.

This could rival 2017’s edition of the festival, which saw the Wednesday rank as the hottest day in the event’s history with highs of 31c; Glasto is known for being plagued with rain and mud, with only eight years in the festival’s near-50 year history escaping the showers.

Thousands of music fans have descended on Worthy Farm this week with Michael Eavis officially opening the festival, as the Glastonbury Twitter account wrote: ‘GATES ARE OPEN! Have an amazing time everyone. And please look after the land and each other.’

Revellers were in Somerset bright and early from Wednesday to set up camp as the Glasto gates opened at 8am – and for once, they weren’t kicking off the long weekend in the mud.
