And, at £1 for a 320g frozen meal, it’s quite the bargain.

This wholesome meal has proved hugely popular with shoppers on HotDealsUK, and Iceland customers are also impressed.

One reviewer said: “I tried one of these not expecting much but it was great! Just as good as I’ve had in pubs and paid £8 for.”

Another wrote: “These are amazing for the money. I’d still buy them at double the price. I like to always have a couple in the freezer for days when I just don’t have the energy to cook.”

But, some users on HotDealsUK were sceptical about the amount of meat in the meal, pointing out that it contains only 28g of beef.

Aldi sells a similar version of this meal – a chicken filled Yorkshire pudding costing £1.99.

But, their version is a seasonal item, while Iceland’s giant Yorkshire is available all year round.

And, you can only buy Aldi’s meal in store, but you can get Iceland’s bargain beef filled pud online for home delivery.

Or, you can just pick a pack up from your nearest Iceland store.

While you’re there, Iceland have just released their Christmas menu which includes a pie stuffed with a turkey roast.

Co-op have also released their festival food range including some delicious bubble and squeak bites.

And, Aldi has upgraded the classic pigs in blankets with their bacon wrapped halloumi.
