But she noticed on the website that the discounted products were supposed to have returned to their original prices on December 23 last year.

The original prices of the products on sale range from around £5 to £24.

In total she saved a whopping £97.57.

She said in a post to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook: “There seems to be a glitch on the Lloyd’s pharmacy website at the moment.

“It states all sale items will return to full price by the 23/12/2020… I’ve just managed to order these Profusion sets, should have cost me £147, instead I’ve paid £49.43!

“A huge saving of £97.57!!! Better be fast before they realise!!”

Deal hunters lapped up the revelation in comments made under the post.

One said: “Thanks, I ordered some of the nude palettes.”

Another said “I just got loads.”

Others said they got even more money off by typing in a discount code – WELCOME10 – at the checkout.

One shopper said: “I’ve just ordered £115.00 worth for £31.00 …. thank you for the heads up.

“Oh yes, and I used the WELCOME10 discount too.”

We checked online and the lower prices are still in place.

How to find glitches

IT’S a fine art to hunt out price glitches and discounts.

That’s why The Sun spoke to one of the best in the game to find out how you can do it.

We spoke to self-confessed Durham “Del-Boy” Shaun Grey, who set up the UK Coupons Deals & Cashback Facebook group, last year to get some tips.

He reckons you could save thousands every year by doing the following:

  • Looking on Facebook groups for glitch tips. Shaun says he once got a a free £49.99 sleeping device on Amazon after a bargain hunter posted a discount code in a group post
  • Hotukdeals often share glitches they’ve spotted
  • Look out for coupons. Sometimes you can get further discounts on top of existing deals
  • It’s important to note that shops can cancel genuine price errors even if you’ve already paid for them, so glitches might not always be successful

Bargains include this Profusion festival 35 shades palette which was £15 and is now £4.25.

Lloyds Pharmacy confirmed to The Sun that the offer is still valid and was extended over the Christmas period.

The discount will remain in place until stock lasts.

The pharmacist not the only retailer slashing the prices of some of its make-up products.

Boots has a sale on of up to half price off items including beauty and make-up gift sets.

We spotted this Ted Baker make-up gift set which was £75 and is now £37.50, as well as this Isle of Paradise skincare kit for £25, down from £50.
