Bachelor Matthew ‘Matty J’ Johnson became a first-time parent with fiancée Laura Byrne in June.
And on Tuesday, the TV personality shared a sweet moment with his three-week-old daughter Marlie Mae from the couple’s Bondi abode.
Gazing lovingly into the newborn’s eyes, the 32-year-old was every inch the doting father in the black-and-white Instagram photos.

The tiny tot wrapped her little fingers around Matty J’s as he smiled from ear to ear.
In another photo, he leaned in and kissed his little girl on the head as she lay in his arms.
‘Got 8hrs solid sleep last night… wish I could say the same for Laura,’ he joked under the photo.
Meanwhile, on Saturday Laura claimed that other new mums would ‘hate her’ because she’s been getting help from her mother-in-law and is generally well rested.

Speaking on her fiancé Matty J’s Nova FM radio show, the jewellery designer said that she’s been getting plenty of sleep thanks to the extra pair of hands.
Laura explained that Matty’s mother has been staying with the couple and helping with childcare, which has made her life much easier.
She revealed that, unlike many other women in her position looking after newborns, she has been able to get some sleep.
‘I’ve been feeding Marlie then giving Marlie to Matt’s mum and going back to bed. It’s great. I’m getting some good sleep in… I feel really good,’ she said.

Laura was overdue by one week and five days and had to be induced, but praised Matty for being ‘very good’ with her when things got ‘hairy’ during her labour.
The couple announced they were expecting a baby together in December, six months after suffering a miscarriage in June last year.
They fell in love on The Bachelor in 2017 and are now engaged after Matty proposed to Laura while on holiday in Fiji in April 2019.
