They captioned the photo: ‘We love you’, while SHINee’s official Instagram account shared the same picture and caption.

Dear Cloud star Nine9, who was a close friend of Jonghyun’s, shared a picture of a string of lights on Instagram and wrote: ‘I’ve decided not to feel so sad so often. Beautiful people are never forgotten. That’s what I’ve learned.

‘Though we’re far apart now, and many things have changed in me because of that distance, I believe that when time goes by, day by day, we will meet again. I will sing your songs here. In that place, you have to be happy.’

‘I’m so upset. I miss you terribly. Just wait… we’ll meet again later.’

And fans of Jonghyun made sure to commemorate the idol, as the hashtag #Jonghyun became a trending topic.
