Oli McBurnie scored a second-half winner as Sheffield United beat West Ham at Bramall Lane to climb to fifth in the Premier League table on Friday.
John Fleck latched on to substitute goalkeeper David Martin’s wayward pass and teed up McBurnie to finish from close range after 53 minutes.
Robert Snodgrass’ injury-time equaliser was ruled out by VAR after the ball hit Declan Rice’s arm in the build-up.
It was a first defeat since returning to West Ham for boss David Moyes.
The result means the Hammers remain two points above the relegation zone.
