Sharon Stone blocked from dating website as people think it is fake account

Hollywood actress with fearsome IQ of 154 seeks like-minded bloke for romance…must believe she is who she says she is.

Because when men found a 5ft 9in, blue-eyed, 61-year-old called Sharon Stone on a dating app they swiped left believing she could not be the real deal.

And the Bumble app then blocked her after several bemused users reported the “fake” account.

Stone tweeted: “Some users reported that it couldn’t possibly be me! Hey @bumble, is being me exclusionary Don’t shut me out of the hive.”

She shared a screenshot of her Bumble account message “You’ve been blocked”. It added: “We’ve received several reports about your account being fake.”

Bumble editorial director Clare O’Connor quickly replied to the star, unblocking her account and apologising for the error.

After posting her tweet to Bumble, Sharon was inundated with offers of dates. One post read: “If you’re ever in Buffalo and kinda dig fat guys with mustaches my DMs are open. Also own a car so willing to drive (up to 25 miles) even if ya just close by.”

Stone starred in the 1992 erotic thriller Basic Instinct, opposite Michael Douglas, and was nominated for an Oscar for her role in Casino in 1995.

She married twice, but is now single and living in California with her three adopted sons while her quest for a soulmate continues.
