Sharon and Ozzy close to accepting offer for The Osbournes reality show comeback

Sharon Osbourne and her family are on the cusp of accepting a TV deal to bag themselves a new series of The Osbournes.

Kelly Osbourne has revealed her family are in the works to bring back their cult reality TV show The Osbournes.

In the early 2000s, the show dominated pop culture thanks to the weird and wonderful life of Sharon and Ozzy.

With more swearing than an angry sailor, the MTV classic ruffled feathers around the world and left people baffled by the musical family.

The Osbournes could be about to return to the small screen

After 15 years off the air, the family are strongly considering a deal to see them return to the small screen once more.

Speaking to PeopleTV’s Reality Check, Kelly said: “I’m not joking, every single year about every three months or so someone else gives us another offer and we keep saying no.

“It keeps coming ’round.

“Right now there’s another offer on the table and I think this is the closest we’ve ever come to accepting one.”

Sharon and Ozzy are one of music’s best loved couples

Kelly, 35, continued: “The first season was such a magical time in my family’s life because we had no idea what we were doing.

“We had no idea that the show would be so successful.

“When I signed the contract for MTV, I was 15 years old and to see what it turned into, we didn’t know how people would perceive us or anything.

“And then suddenly wake up one day and literally be one of the most famous 16-year-olds in the world just being yourself.

Kelly says The Osbournes are the closest they have ever been to accepting a new TV deal

“I think that is the most raw and vulnerable you will see any family on TV.”

Sharon, 67, recently opened up about fearing for Ozzy’s life after he suffered a horror fall in LA back in January.

The injury forced The Black Sabbath rocker to axe countless gigs around the world.

Sharon told The Sun: “It’s terrifying when you see somebody you love so incapacitated.

“They fixed the collarbone straight away but his spinal cord was so inflamed they had to wait a week to do an operation.

“He was in surgery for five hours and afterwards they told us it would take him a year to recover.”
