A London commuter who went viral for her Shallow cover was so overwhelmed she stopped her interview on the Ellen Degeneres show to thank the TV host.
Charlotte Awbery rose to fame when a video of her singing Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s hit on the underground started circulating online.
Now a star on the US chat show, the Londoner was overwhelmed with love and she halted the interview to thank the host for having her.
“I was literally on my way to meet my friend.” She said.
“I’m absolutely overwhelmed with all of this, thank you so much for having me.”
The singing super star confided in Ellen she has been completely overwhelmed by the attention she got after the video hit social media.

Ellen surprised the songwriter with a year-long free Tube pass and £10,000 to help her along the way to stardom.
The TV host surprised Charlotte when she revealed her video had been seen by six million people and that Shallow has surged into the Top 40 on Itunes.
Also, the presenter noted since the video was shared on Facebook – Charlotte’s Instagram followers have skyrocketed to 466,000 from 5,000.

Charlotte remained incredibly modest and sweetly shared her dad always advised her to sing whenever and where ever she goes.
She said: “My dad always said to me: sing wherever you are.”
It all started when British comedian Kevin Freshwater approached Charlotte in the tube.

Charlotte, from Romford, East London , was asked to finish the lyrics as part of the comedian’s popular challenges while on the underground.
After the prankster held a microphone in her direction, he was left stunned when wedding singer Charlotte belted out a pitch-perfect version of Shallow.
Social media was awash with more praise for Charlotte after she performed again on the US chat show.
Leading the troops, one wrote: “OMG #CharlotteAwbery is amazing! The cover of #Shallow is amazing.”
Others said: “She completely nailed this WOW.”
Vlogger Kevin Freshwater was in the audience on the show and explained how it all went down.
He said: “I was out in London for about two weeks, approaching so many different random people and I came across Charlotte and she just blew me away.”
