Serena Williams has designed a jewellery line packed with empowering slogans

Tennis star Serena Williams has added yet another string to her racket.

The 38-year-old sportswoman has designed her first fine jewellery collection comprising 70 core pieces.

The range, Serena Williams Jewelry, is in collaboration with global diamond manufacturer K.P. Sanghvi, who has ensured that all of the diamonds used are ethically sourced and conflict-free.

From 14 carat gold earrings emblazoned with “Sexy” to necklaces with “Winner” and “Queen” adorned on them, the collection is unequivocally empowering.

The launch of her jewellery line follows hot on the tails the of Williams’ foray into fashion.

In September, she debuted her inclusive S by Serena line at New York Fashion Week, and earlier in the summer, she sported a Swarovski brooch during Wimbledon.

The accessory was the first of its kind, made of exactly 34 Swarovski crystals to represent the age Serena was when she won her most recent London Slam at Wimbledon in 2016.

Williams is an avid lover of fashion and has a long-running relationship with Nike as well as Off-White designer Virgil Abloh, who frequently collaborates with the athleisure brand.

Williams has worn designs by Nike x Off-White at recent competitions, including this year’s French Open where she opted for a monochrome ensemble with the words ‘Mother, Champion, Queen, Goddess’ written in French.

The collection is available to buy now, and prices start from £240.
