Send us a tip on Portugal for the chance to win a £200 holiday voucher

News of Portugal’s removal from the UK government’s red list has increased the hope of international travel this summer – and stirred memories of trips to this wildly varied country: from surfing its spectacular coast to leaping into the pristine rivers in its mountainous north and the fabulous restaurants in Lisbon and Porto.

We’d love to hear about your favourite places and experiences of Portugal: perhaps a brilliant little restaurant or cafe, an amazing activity holiday, cultural attraction or protected nature park.

If you have a relevant photo, do send it in – but it’s your words that will be judged for the competition.

Keep your tip to about 100 words.

The best tip of the week, chosen by travel expert Tom Hall, will win a £200 voucher from glamping specialist Canopy & Stars, which has more than 700 places to stay in in the great outdoors. The best tips will appear on the Guardian Travel website, and maybe in the paper, too.
