Congratulations could be in order for Selma Bliar after she was pictured rocking large bling on her wedding ring finger.

The Brown’s Requiem star was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and is continuing to fight every day as comes to terms with her ‘new normal’.

It’s been a tough time for the star after she went through chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant in order to help relieve the intense pain and physical difficulties from MS.

But earlier in the week, the Cruel Intentions star was spotted out and about in West Hollywood with a ring on her finger.

However, the ring was missing when she heading out to lunch with her boyfriend David Lyons the next day on 7 December.

Selma and the 51-year-old producer were first pictured together earlier this year and it seems the relationship has been going from strength to strength.

Just months before the pair’s outing, Selma had been told to make preparations ‘for death’ as she prepared to undergo chemotherapy.

While she had initially ruled out chemo, she eventually had the treatment because she was ‘out of options’.

Selma said during a panel at the Time 100 Health Summit: ‘The disease modifiers did not work for me at the time, and I was really declining more rapidly than I found acceptable.’

She decided to try the stem cell transplant and ‘aggressive’ chemotherapy to restart her immune system but was initially not keen on the idea.

She explained: ‘I had no intention of doing it, I was like, “I’m not ruining my body, what’s left of it. Why would I put this horrible drug, chemotherapy, in me? I don’t have cancer”.

But I was kind of out of options and I was looking.’

Selma lost her hair due to the treatment, but she says that was the least of her concerns as she tried to ensure she was able to live as long as possible for her nine-year-old son, Arthur.

She explained: ‘That was a small thing, I never minded hair loss or any of those things that were about ego. My dream was just to lie next to my son at night and be there as long as I can.’
