Selling Sunset's Mary Fitzgerald says she is going to have to CONFRONT co-star Christine Quinn

Mary Fitzgerald has said that she has ‘no choice’ but to confront Christine Quinn on Selling Sunset series 4 after she claimed she didn’t congratulate her on pregnancy.

Speaking to hosts Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng on Access All Areas on FUBAR Radio on Thursday, the realtor, 40, insisted that she has ‘proof’ of her well-wishes.

Mary has butted heads with Christine – who is expecting her first child with husband Christian Richard – on previous episodes of the real estate drama and their ongoing feud shows no signs of slowing down.

The realtor added that she always ‘tries to be nice’ and that she ‘doesn’t get’ why Christine has accused her of not congratulating her pregnancy.

Mary admitted that she has ‘no choice’ but to confront Christine over the accusations as they have to work together and are both part of a reality show.

She said: ‘I don’t have any choice on it! Whether I want to or not, I’m going to have to. I’m trying really hard not to.’

Mary added that the drama ‘upsets her’ and that she is trying to ‘keep the peace for now’ during filming.

She said: ‘Absolutely it does. I just don’t get it. I keep trying to be nice. I don’t get it. So I’m just kind of trying to keep the peace for now and I’ll talk to her about it when I have to.

‘But she knows, I congratulated her. I have proof of it, but I mean, but I’m not going to, I don’t know why, I don’t know why she says stuff sometimes, but, well I guess we’ll deal with it soon enough.’

Talking about how filming series four has been so far, Mary said: ‘Well, I mean, we’re just, I mean, we’re in production, but we’re just like getting started. So everything’s still really new. But Christine, I haven’t really talked to her that much.

‘I congratulated her on her pregnancy, but I haven’t really seen her. So last I heard she was like, I don’t know, saying stuff during press about me, Heather [Young] and Chrishell [Stause]. So it will be interesting.

‘But I’m just going to keep positive and, you know, just see what happens. I’m sure you guys will be entertained.’

Mary, who is married to Romain Bonnet, also addressed rumours that her son Austin, 22, from a previous relationship, could be joining the show.

The reality star said: ‘Really? He’s not joining the show’, although she added that he could be making some guest appearances.

Mary continued: ‘Yeah. Yeah, I’m sure. Because he lives out here now and I see him a lot. And so, yeah. I’m sure production would want, and fans would want, to see a little bit more of him and about our relationship. So I think he’d be open to it.’

Last month, the reality star revealed she previously ‘extended an olive branch’ to her co-star Christine, 31, over the phone, and said she ‘didn’t know what the deal was’ when she accused her of failing to send her well wishes.

‘I sent her a voice message when I found out she was pregnant, congratulating her and she said “thank you,”‘ the star told Hello! magazine from the comfort of her new $1.5million Los Angeles pad.

‘But then I saw an article where she was bashing me, Heather Rae Young and Chrishell Stause for not liking her pregnancy announcement and I was like, “What?”

‘We don’t even follow each other on Instagram. None of us do, so I don’t know what the deal was with that, but I did reach out to her and I did congratulate her.’

Before Christine took a swipe at her co-stars for not congratulating her on This Morning, Mary revealed that she called her to make amends, and their conversation was productive.

The real estate agent said they ‘hashed out’ their problems and it went ‘really well,’ to the point where they could get back to a place of being civil with one another.

But following the bombshell claims, Mary has insisted she won’t let things be awkward on the next series and is excited to return. She assured fans there will just as much drama, if not more than the previous seasons.

The reality star said issues are ‘bound to come up’ due to the mixture of strong personalities on the reality TV show while admitting that some scenes can be very uncomfortable to film.

She asserted to the publication that everything on the programme is real and nothing is scripted, hence the raw emotion which emanates from certain scenes.

Although production have free rein to edit the show how they see fit, Mary credited Selling Sunset for accurately portraying the entire cast and for not taking any moments out of context.

Last month Netflix revealed that it was renewing Selling Sunset for seasons four and five following the show’s popularity.

Selling Sunset follows luxury realtors across Los Angeles who work at The Oppenheim Group.
