Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young has ‘finally’ married the love of her life, Tarek El Moussa, in a lavish wedding ceremony on Saturday.
The happy couple tied the knot at a hotel near Santa Barbara in front of loved ones more than two years after they first met on Fourth of July, 2019. They got engaged last summer when Tarek proposed to celebrate their first anniversary.
Heather, 34, had her Selling Sunset co-stars on-hand for support on her big day, with Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald and Christine Quinn spotted in attendance among the wedding guests.
Speaking to People after the nuptials, Heather said: ‘We’re best friends, we’re true soulmates, and our love is so rare and so special. It’s the love I’ve always dreamed of my whole life.’
Tarek added: ‘I’m just excited to live this life with her. We’ve got the two babies, we have a family, and we have a very bright future.’
The Flipping 101 host was referring to his two children, daughter Taylor, 11, and son Brayden, six, who he shares with first wife Christina Haack.
In various clips from the wedding shared on social media, Heather kicked off the day getting ready with her mother and mother-in-law. She later presented the pair with custom-made black lace dressing gowns with their names on the back.
‘My mom’s been emotional since she got here, let’s get her all glammed up,’ she wrote in her Instagram stories.
The outdoor venue was decorated lavishly with a pretty flower arch of white roses at the top of the aisle, while guests could pick up glasses of champagne from a marble wall that said: ‘He finally flipped her last name.’
The bride’s wedding dress featured a fitted corset dress with French lace, long sleeves, and a keyhole back custom-made by Israeli designer Galia Lahav for both the ceremony and reception.
Heather and Tarek, 40, were later seen posing for photos with their bridal party and his children after tying the knot, sharing a kiss for the romantic snaps.
After sharing their first dance to a country song, Heather was seen delivering a speech in which she said while holding her new husband’s hand: ‘I’ve been dreaming of this night my whole life and I never was one of those girls that grew up planning her wedding…
‘I’ve found my prince charming, he is everything to me and the kids are everything to me, Brayden, Taylor. I have a family and we brought our families together, I love you so much. I love all of you guys so much, thank you so much for being here and for celebrating me and Tarek.’
She then said to cheers: ‘I’m a wife!’
Heather and Tarek will remain in California for the next few days before jetting off on their honeymoon to the Maldives and Dubai.
