Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause met one of her heroes Sarah Jessica Parker on a talk show – and her starstruck reaction was honestly how all of us would’ve acted.
In an Instagram post, Stause recounted every detail of her encounter with the Sex and the City star. “She was everything and more you would hope her to be – kind, gracious, patient with my stammering,” she wrote in a caption of her post, which contained some frantic, fan girl pictures.
The reality TV star crossed paths with SJP while promoting her book Under Construction: Because Living My Best Life Took a Little Work on US late-night talk show Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. Meanwhile, SJP was – obviously – chatting all things And Just Like That.

The pair posed for a series of pictures (see below), looking seriously fierce. Stause’s Insta post also includes a video of her BARELY holding it together while chatting to SJP, with the biggest smile on her face, and honestly same.

She also recorded a selfie video FREAKING OUT while waiting to meet the SATC star – just all kinds of cuteness.
“I got to write a note to her inside my book (Thank God bc nothing I said made sense) & give it to herrrrrr,” she added in a separate caption. “Asked my friends if anything I said made sense and they all confirmed it in fact did not.”
In such an adorable fashion, she thanked SJP for her patience: “Thank you for being SO kind to a tongue tied fan. You are incredibly talented and sweet & you made the trip one for the BOOKS!!!!”
We’re rather jealous of this rather spectacular, unplanned run-in. Do we dare to dream of an overlap of the two shows? Maybe Carrie Bradshaw appearing on Selling Sunset? Or Stause joining the ladies in New York? Anything is possible.
