The singer received some backlash when she shared a selfie wearing the bodysuit, after Kim famously called Taylor a snake fuelling their fall out.

She deleted it and replaced it with a selfie with Swift and her new cat Benjamin Button.

Taylor adopted the kitten after meeting him on the set of her ME! video.

“My ride or die. I would die for this one,” Gomez wrote over the photo, which the star shared on Instagram Story.

She added: “Thank you for forever being by my side. You have taught me so much, walked through all of this with me, STAYED and you remind me to be a better, human being. I’m on your side for life.”

Recently, Selena revealed that she appreciates her famous pal’s empathy.

“She was frustrated when I was frustrated. She was sad when I was sad,” she told Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1’s new show New Music Daily.

She continued: “But more than anything, my friends stood by my side when I think they visibly saw me in so much pain,”

Selena, whose two new tracks appear to be inspired by the ending of her relationship with Justin Bieber,  explained of the songs: “I played her this song and I played it with her mom and dad, and I showed her the video. Her mom and Taylor started crying.

“It wasn’t because the song was emotional, it was just because the first thing they said to me was, ‘We’re so happy that you’re here. After seeing all of that, this is such a cool moment.’ That’s a huge thing for me,” she said.

Selena released Lose You To Love Me last week and Taylor called it “perfect expression of healing & my absolute favorite song she’s put out yet,” on her Instagram.

She added second track Look At Her Now; Bieber and Gomez had a tumultuous relationship with many breakups over the past several years, they most recently split in March last year and Bieber began publicly dating now-wife Hailey Baldwin just two months later.
