We ship Selena Gomez, 26, and Bill Murray, 68, in the most platonic way.

The duo exhibited the cutest old-timey connection at the premiere for The Dead Don’t Die on Tuesday night, as the stars lined the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival.

Like us, Selena did not seem immune to Bill’s charms, as he sent her into a fit of giggles as soon as the cameras started to flash. Classic Bill.

But the actress held it together, oozing old Hollywood glamour as she stood blowing kisses to her co-star in a mock-flirty fashion.

For her premiere ensemble, Selena picked out a retro-inspired white crop and a matching skirt, setting off the look with a classic red lipstick.

It’s the first time Selena shares the screen with comedy king Bill as they make up just two of ‘the greatest zombie cast ever disassembled,’ the film trailer jokes.

Their new comedy about the undead co-stars Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton, Chloë Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Caleb Landry Jones and Austin Butler.

On the red carpet on Tuesday, Luka Sabbat – the actor regularly linked to eldest Kardashian sister, Kourtney – seemed to be third wheeling Bill and Selena, as he watched them share a cute moment.

The Dead Don’t Die is one of 21 films in contention for this year’s coveted Palme d’Or prize.

The screening marked the start of Cannes Film Festival, as the Opening Ceremony of the 72nd annual event took place at the Palais des Festivals.

Other films expected to make a splash this week include the Sir Elton John biopic, Rocketman, starring Taron Egerton, and Once Upon a Time In Hollywood which stars, well, all the stars.

Quentin Tarantino’s new retrospective is expected to bring Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie to the red carpet later this week.
