See the celebrity couples who made their debut at the Golden Globes



The 77th edition of the Golden Globes kicked off award season in style on Sunday night, with celebrities and Hollywood heavyweights stepping out for the occasion.

It was a night full of talking points, from Ricky Gervais’ outrageous last outing as host to Brit stars winning big and *that* Tom Hanks meme.

And as always, some of Hollywood’s hottest couples arrived dressed to the nines to celebrate and while it’s wrong to pick favourites, all eyes were on the two couples making their debuts. 


Here’s who stepped out together for the first time… 

Brits clear up at the Golden Globes

The couple effectively confirmed their relationship by posing together on the red carpet they appeared together on the red carpet before heading into the ceremony. 

Reports claiming Bilson and Hader had started dating began circulating in late 2019 when they were spotted on what appeared to be a date in Los Angeles.

TMZ then reported that they had been spotted again, in Hader’s hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, visiting a Starbucks with his family.

The duo starred in th movie The To Do List together in 2013. Hader shares three daughters with his ex-wife Maggie Carey while Bilson, who has a daughter, separated from her fiance Hayden Christensen in 2017.

Michelle Williams made her first red carpet appearance alongside fiance Thomas Kail on Sunday night.

The actress, 39, is currently expecting a child with Kail and marked her awards win with a moving and powerful acceptance speech in support of reproductive freedom for women.

A notoriously private couple, the pair’s relationship only came to light at the end of last year when Williams’ surprise engagement and pregnancy were picked up on by American media, when they were pictured shopping for baby clothes in London.

While details about their relationship are scarce, they duo did work work together on FX’s biopic Fosse/Verdon which aired on BBC Two earlier this year, while Williams’ 14-year-old daughter Matilda reportedly played matchmaker to set the pair up.
