See 90s legends 5ive, 911, A1 and Damage on their The Boys Are Back Tour 2020 – how to get tickets


Boybands 5ive, 911, A1 and Damage have announced two Scottish dates as part of their 2020 UK tour, The Boys Are Back – and tickets go on sale today.

The pop legends will rock gigs in Glasgow and Edinburgh, bringing all the best loved hits to the stage for a night of late 90s nostalgia.

The tour kicks off on Wednesday February 19, 2020, at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall.

5ive are back on tour next year

Then on Friday February 21, 2020, the show hits Glasgow at the SEC Armadillo.

5ive – who are now technically Three – are best known for chart topping songs such as Keep on Movin’ and If Ya Gettin’ Down, and will headline the tour with original members Sean Conlon, Ritchie Neville and Scott Robinson taking the spotlight. Past members J Brown and Abz Love left when the band officially split in 2001 to pursue their own projects.

As well as 5ive, three other boybands will also be part of the tour, including 911 – who were formed when the band mates lived in a three bedroom flat on the south side of Glasgow.

Lee Brennan, Jimmy Constable and Spike Dawbarn had their first big hit in 1996 with Don’t Make Me Wait, and went on to have a cult following for several years.

Damage will also join the tour

Meanwhile A1 are a British and Norwegian band who shot to fame in 1998.Band members Paul Marazzi, Christian Ingebrigtsen, Mark Read and Ben Adams will all perform on The Boys Are Back tour.

Damage, whose lead singer Jade Jones is Spice Girl Emma Bunton’s husband, will also be on the bill with four original members. They’ll perform big hit Forever from 1995 as well as many other favourite songs.

  • The tour’s Scottish gigs include dates at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall, and Glasgow’s SEC Armadillo and tickets are on sale today (April 10) from Ticketmaster and Gigantic.com.
