Secretlab, a specialty gaming chair manufacturer founded in Singapore, has announced a partnership with Tottenham and English Premier League player Dele Alli. The 21-year-old soccer professional, who represented England in the 2018 FIFA World Cup, streams on his personal Twitch Database-Link-e1521645463907 channel which, at the time of writing, has 1.5M total views.

“I am very particular about the equipment I use when gaming – I have to be comfortable. That’s why I am excited to partner with Secretlab.” said Alli. “Their gaming chairs are made with great quality and can be adjusted to how I like to sit, this allows me to game as best I can!”

Secretlab produces branded gaming chairs in partnership with esports organizations such as Team Secret Database-Link-e1521645463907 and Cloud9 Database-Link-e1521645463907 while also being the official chair of North American League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) and World Championships.

“Physical sports and video gaming are similar in nature, because they both involve competing and the will to self-improve. The perception that gamers only consist of nerdy boys in the basement is no longer true—it’s become common to see many sportsmen playing games and vice versa,” said Secretlab CEO and co-founder Ian Ang. “We want to be part of the movement to educate the public on this, and partnering with an elite sportsman like Dele is our way of doing so. That, and Dele really likes our chairs.”

The founders of the Singaporean startup, Ian Ang and Alaric Choo, were featured in the Retail & E-Commerce category of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia in 2018.
