Sean was knighted by the Queen in 2000 for his services to film and drama.

A poll conducted by the Radio Times showed that Sir Sean was named the best James Bond ever by fans.
Over 14,000 people voted for their favourite 007 and had to choose between other iconic Bond stars including Daniel Craig, Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan.
