Seafront bungalow with eye-watering ‘charity shop Las Vegas’ interior including giant giraffe goes on sale for £600,000

A SEAFRONT home up for sale in Blackpool has been mocked for its “charity shop” furniture and Las Vegas style decor.

The bungalow, dubbed Britain’s weirdest home and on the market for £600,000, includes a giant giraffe, electric blue patterned carpets and a bizarre array of awkwardly placed armchairs.

The home, in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire, has been widely mocked for its hilarious furnishings and strange design choices.

The brochure for the bizarre four-bed property, which is just miles from Blackpool, describes it as a “complete one off”.

It continues: “An opportunity not to be missed, a highly unique detached residence offering over 4,200 square ft of accommodation.”

The bungalow’s living room is kitted out with electric blue patterned carpets, neon lights around the ceiling, three sofas and two armchairs.

The kitchen, meanwhile, has chequered tiling, and two awkwardly placed red armchairs which block access to the dishwasher.

A room which comes off the kitchen features a sculpture of a giant giraffe wearing a hat, a grand piano – also with a hat on top – and a pink sofa.

One online viewer said: “There’s warehouse chic – and then there’s charity shop overflow warehouse chic”.

Another, ridiculing its eclectic decor, jibed: “What happened in Vegas didn’t stay there with predictably diabolical results.”

One viewer asked: “Why is there a bed in the garage?”

Estate agents Unique said: “If truth be known, this property reminds us of something from a film set!”
