Scottish fintech firm partners US software provider

Scottish fintech firm AutoRek has partnered with iSoftware4Banks, a US-based provider of financial reporting and compliance services.

The partnership stems from Covid-19’s impact on the financial services industry, which has shifted historically office-based staff to working from home, resulting in reviews of IT infrastructure and outsourced services to ensure uninterrupted service and operational resilience.

Marc McCarthy, head of partnerships at AutoRek, stated: “As financial services firms consider their 2021 budgets after a turbulent year of operational risk, they will inevitably seek optimal value, which together we are confident in delivering.”

Vincent Raniere, chief executive at iSoftware4Banks, added: “By partnering with AutoRek we can offer excellence in financial and operational controls to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.”

AutoRek and iSoftware4Banks are joining forces to drive automation in financial services, by combining experienced consultants with data management technology.

AutoRek’s tools let firms automate and streamline the collection, validation and reconciliation of data, facilitating transparency for governance and regulatory compliance. Eliminating spreadsheets and manual processing can help to cut costs, as well as reducing operational risk associated with migrating high volumes of data.

Headquartered in Glasgow, with offices in Edinburgh, London and New York, the firm has over 80 employees.
