Scott McTominay taken off on stretcher after Man Utd win over Brighton



Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay was taken off on a stretcher after the win over Brighton .

McTominay appeared in discomfort as he picked up an injury in the closing stages at Old Trafford.

The Scot was taken down the tunnel at full-time on a stretcher.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United returned to winning ways at Old Trafford with a 3-1 victory.

McTominay claimed the second goal for United after Andreas Pereira’s opener, but it was later awarded for an own goal to Davy Propper.

Lewis Dunk got one back for the visitors before Marcus Rashford secured the win for the hosts in the second half.

United’s victory sees them climb to seventh in the Premier League ahead of the international break.
