Scots celebs pay tribute to their other halves to mark Valentine's Day 2021

Scots celebrities have been paying tribute to their other halves to mark Valentine’s Day 2021.

Celebrations have been very low key compared to previous years due to the coronavirus pandemic – and the social media dedications have reflected on that.

Most of them have either been taken at home or they have given fans a throwback to the fun times they had before the health crisis.

Scots Love Island winner Paige Turley’s partner Finn Tapp has taken the latter of these approaches as he paid tribute to his year-long girlfriend.

He showed the pair dancing the night away during a time when crowds were allowed to gather – soundtracked to the classic Al Green track Let’s Stay Together.

Finn wrote: “Happy Valentine’s Day beautiful, you deserve the world. Can’t wait for more nights like these.”

Dunblane-born model Emma Louise Connolly took the chance to share a gorgeous snap from her wedding day in December, when she married Made in Chelsea star Oliver Proudlock.

She wrote: “Our 7th Valentine’s together, but the first as your wife. Love you @proudlock.”

Love Island stars, and recently married couple, Iain Stirling and Laura Whitmore both shared footage of them perfecting their TikTok dancing skills in their Valentine’s post.

Iain wrote: “Happy Valentine’s to the only human in the world I would do TikToks for.”

Laura added: “Love is…agreeing to do a TikTok.”

Former Rangers player Richard Foster opted to go for something a little more funny than romantic as he shared a hilarious clip of his wife and pop sensation Amy Macdonald.

The video showed the This is the Life singer tucking into some cake straight out of the fridge.

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos posted a cute snap of him posing alongside his partner Yesenia

Richard commented: “Happy Valentine’s Day wife. You make me laugh every day.”

And current Ibrox ace Alfredo Morelos shared a picture of him posing with his wife Yesenia.

The striker also shared a cute snap of their nine-month-old daughter Leonela.
