Scientists find no sign of alien life in 10m solar systems


Scientists in Australia have discovered no signs of alien life after searching more than 10 million solar systems. The research team used a gigantic telescope in the Western Australian outback to perform the vast search, which they dubbed “looking for ET”. “We found no technosignatures – no sign of intelligent life,” one of the scientists said.

Teen bitten by a snake as he sat on the loo 

A teenage boy has been hospitalised after being bitten on the penis by a snake as he sat on the toilet. “I looked down and saw there was a snake hanging in the toilet,” said Siraphop Masukarat, 18, who lives near Bangkok, Thailand. Back in January, a Thai woman was also hospitalised after a snake bit her thigh while she answered the call of nature.

Woman goes topless as she votes in New Hampshire  

A woman in New Hampshire went topless in a polling station after officials complained about her political T-shirt. The woman arrived at the polling station with a shirt mocking President Trump and the late US senator John McCain. A moderator told her she could not wear it as she voted, so she removed it and voted topless. An eye witness said: “With everything going on in the world, it’s like, who cares?”
