Scarlett Moffatt ‘taking ownership for her body’ as she shares powerful statement

Scarlett Moffatt has said she’s ‘taking ownership for her body’ and refuses to apologise to anyone who thinks her looks ‘aren’t good enough’.

The TV personality took to Instagram to share a selfie sporting a t-shirt from her fashion collection with Peacocks, which read ‘Boss Lady’.

‘2020 is the year I feel like a boss & I’m not afraid to
say it,’ she wrote. ‘I’m taking ownership for my body and not apologising to
anyone who thinks my looks aren’t “good enough for them”, that’s why I added
this boss lady tee to my edit with @peacocks_fashion.’  

Fans applauded Scarlett’s confidence and her honesty, with one writing: ‘Looking amazing Scarlett, loving your confidence.’

‘Love this, never apologise for who you are,’ another added.

‘Scarlett you’re a beautiful lady inside & out,’ another
inspired fan wrote.

The former Gogglebox star had previously been loving life in Iceland, taking a trip to the Blue Lagoon – and, while on her holiday, she also shared a similar statement, revealing she was not going to let her flaws stop her from living her life and taking selfies.

Sharing a swimsuit snap to Instagram, she captioned the post: ‘Hi my names Scarlett I have boobs, hips and cellulite but am I gonna stop that from taking a photo and posting it for all to see…… no!!

‘Feeling brave (maybe it’s the Prosecco and fact I’m with the family) #bodyconfidence #love #body.’

Scarlett also previously opened up about her fashion edit with Peacocks, which she designed for all woman regardless of their size.

Speaking to MailOnline, she said: ‘The collection is sizes 8-22. And again, there’s no labels, no “plus size” or any of that. You just pop into the store and if you see anything you like you just get it in your size.

‘I just wanted to make sure that this range didn’t exclude anybody, I wanted to make sure that every woman could go in and feel like they could buy something that could fit them.’
