Scarlett Moffatt has shrugged off comments made by cruel trolls during her appearance on Bake Off: Extra Slice and we love her for it.
The former I’m A Celebrity winner, who’s got a secret project coming up with Love Island‘s Curtis Pritchard, made an appearance on the spin-off show alongside Frank Skinner and Stephen Mangan after the baking competition returned to screens.
With cruel trolls online making comments about the star’s weight, Scarlett paid them no mind as she thanked fans for the lovely messages they’d been sending.
The 29-year-old went on to show off her gorgeous outfit, before showing her pup Bonnie enjoying the show.
Just recently, the star shared a selfie in a stunning black dress, revealing that her confidence has been boosted after filming the Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan.
‘I’ve done a show recently that has really boosted my confidence and honestly I can’t tell you how liberated I felt filming and having the tops of my arms and legs out,’ she marveled.
‘I normally have everything covered. Thank you @kirstydoyle for the lovely gifted dress.’
Meanwhile, recently enjoying a getaway to Spain, she revealed she’s got no time for insecurities.
Taking to Instagram, she posed in an animal-print swimsuit, while on holiday in Spain, and took a second to tell followers: ‘Don’t let your insecurities stop you from having fun!! Pool party ready.’
Although she’s been open about sticking to strict diet regimens in the past, she told The Sun in 2018: ‘I was so focused on staying slim I stopped being sociable. I was like, “I can’t drink this then I’ll be hungover and I’ll want to eat a McDonald’s breakfast the next day,” so I never really got into a good routine.’
Scarlett added: ‘Whereas now I like going to the gym but I also like going for food. So for me, it’s not necessarily that I’m the most happy with my body, I’m just happy with life. I’ve got the balance right.’
