A SAVVY saver has revealed how she got a mega Greggs haul including cookies and a vegan sausage roll for just £2.95 – and other shoppers can too.
You can get food from big chains and supermarkets like Morrisons, Greggs and Costa for bargain prices by making the most of food waste apps.

One thrifty shopper used the Too Good to Go app to bag £8.70 worth of Greggs treats for just £2.95.
The app lets shoppers buy leftover food from shops which would have only chucked the grub out anyway at rock bottom prices.
Stephanie Barton, 29, from Leicestershire, used it to bag herself goodies from cookies to sandwiches from the bakery chain at a big saving.
She uploaded her haul to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook.
Stephanie bagged two cookies, a cinnamon bun, a vegan sausage roll, one sausage, cheese and beans melt and a chicken and bacon sandwich for just £2.95.
It would have usually cost her £8.70 altogether – meaning she saved £5.75.
She told The Sun: “I was extremely happy with the haul, and I love the fact there is stickers on them [the products] to say what it is and it states all ingredients.
“For £2.95 you can’t go wrong.”
Her post was liked and commented on by hundreds of Greggs fans.
One shopper said: “I love Too Good To Go.”
While another said: “Always impressed with the Greggs bags – such good value and loads of stuff!”

You bag of treats is a selection made up of whatever food doesn’t sell that day.
You can download it for free on the Google Play or App Store.
You can search for restaurants, chains and supermarkets which have signed up to the app near you.
Click on the store you want to bag your goodies from, order your box and pick it up later at a certain time.
It’s also subject to availability – so it’s better to order yours early as once they’re gone, they’re gone for the day.
