COUNTING down the days until you can get away?
Whether you have a staycation planned after restrictions ease on May 17, or you’re holding out for more exotic climes in the future, it’s always lovely to have something to look forward to.
And don’t fret if your luggage is on its last legs — these savvy baggage buys are available now.
CARRY ON: Aldi has some great options for under £15.
I’m a big fan of the grey ultra light carry on case, £14.99, but if you prefer a holdall, you can also grab the Adventuridge small roller holdall for just £12.99 — it’s super-handy as you can carry or roll it easily, whichever you prefer.
A similarly-sized holdall is £69 at antler.co.uk.

MAXX OUT: I was over the moon when TK Maxx reopened its doors.
You may need to queue, but I think the luggage savings, among others, are worth it.
Each store will have different stock and sizes, but on the website alone I can currently see a steal on a Herschel Highland Suitcase for £48, usually £165.

BACK TO BASICS: Amazon.co.uk has a great range of plain hard-shell cases for around £52.49.
What’s more, you can also nab personalised vinyl stickers designed for luggage for just £3.45.
Monogrammed luggage is all the rage on social media — but comes at a price, I’ve seen medium- sized options for £150 at dyefor.com
Even if you don’t already have a case to customise, you could buy the basic Amazon option I mentioned and the sticker for a total of just £55.94.
SAVING: £94.06
TOP MARKS: I always visit Primark for pre-travel essentials, so I’m glad it is open again.
Make travelling comfier with a Minnie Mouse pink and gold travel pillow, £6.
Similar Disney-themed pillows are £17 at Samsonite.
