Underbelly star Firass Dirani is undeniably SAS Australia‘s villain.
And now Shane Warne’s son Jackson has come to the defence of the 36-year-old actor, telling Daily Mail Australia what Firass is really like.
Speaking candidly last week, Jackson, 21, said that he was ‘good mates’ with Firass on the hit Seven show and said that Firass helped him out on the course a number of times.

‘I’m getting along really well with Firass,’ Jackson explained.
‘On the course, we were pretty good mates, he helped me pack my bag, when we were chatting he was fine, we got to know each other really well.’
He added: ‘He helped motivate me, helped keep me warm when I was wet. But I can see why people get frustrated.’

Firass has become public enemy number one among the celebrity recruits on SAS Australia for regularly getting the directing staff (DS) offside and often causing the stars to undergo group punishments.
Jackson said his attitude got the other stars offside.
‘He said in these interviews, he doesn’t like being told what to do, and being yelled at. But in these environments, you have to forget about that for the time that you’re there.’
‘When he says stuff out of line or tries to make a joke about getting wet or wanting to go for a run, he’s not the one getting punished for it, its us, and as it happens more and more, we get more frustrated and frustrated.’

Jackson added that on the course, ’emotions are high’ and tempers flare because ‘everyone is exhausted.’
Firass has had a number of tiffs with his co-stars, including Biggest Loser trainer Shannan Ponton and Merrick Watts.
Firass insisted last week that he had selflessly helped Shannan battle hypothermia on SAS Australia – after the former Biggest Loser star branded him a ‘sociopath’ for his self-centred behaviour on the show.
And it turns out the 36-year-old actor was telling the truth – as the moment he helped Shannan, 46, played out on the Channel Seven program on Tuesday night.

In the footage, Shannan was seen shaking violently in a minivan following a gruelling challenge, with Firass taking a seat next to him.
Before helping himself, Firass passed a cup of hot water to Shannan in an attempt to help him battle against the bitter cold.
Even after Shannan said he couldn’t hold the cup, the House Husbands star reassured him it wasn’t too hot and would help with his convulsions.
Firass – who believes his reputation as a troublemaker on SAS Australia is part of a ‘villain edit’ orchestrated by Seven – told Daily Mail Australia this wasn’t the only way he’d helped Shannan when he was suffering from hypothermia.
He said on Wednesday: ‘I also undressed him on the hill. They showed the commandos dressing him, but cut who took his tops off. I did. They cut it.
‘Then I took his temperature from his ears because the doctor was in an awkward position. The doctor passed the gauge to me, and I took the temperature twice at different times to see how bad the situation was.’
Referring to the footage that aired of him helping Shannan, Firass added: ‘This is not enough. There’s more to come. [They’re] always cutting my success and humanity.’
