Sarah Hyland honours Jennifer Aniston’s new Instagram with a throwback of Friends star and Paul Rudd playing her parents

Sarah Hyland hasn’t gotten over the fact Jennifer Aniston finally has an Instagram and took the opportunity to take advantage of being able to tag her.

The Modern Family star uploaded a sweet throwback of herself, Jennifer and Paul Rudd pretending to be an adorable family for 1998 film Object Of My Affection.

She wrote: ‘In honor of @jenniferaniston getting an Instagram I’m reposting this picture from almost 24 years ago. Neither she, Paul Rudd, nor myself have aged since 1996. I love ya fake mama! #objectofmyaffection [sic].’

If we had photos of Jennifer, we’d also post in her honour.

The photo had an infant Sarah being held by her fake dad Paul and she’s right, all three haven’t aged a single day.

What’s their secret?

Jennifer finally joined the world of Instagram yesterday, sharing with us an insight into her recent Friends reunion.

The actress wasted no time in giving the people what they want, as she shared a shot from a recent get together with her former sitcom co-stars as they gathered around her camera in a living room during recent celebrations.

Previously Courteney Cox (who played Monica) shared a shot of her hanging with Matt LeBlanc (Joey) and Jen (Rachel), as the three caught up.

We soon found out the whole cast, along with Matthew Perry (Chandler), David Schwimmer (Ross) and Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe) were also present, hiding on the other side of the lens. From her freshly verified account on Tuesday afternoon, Jen wrote alongside a very, very swell selfie: ‘And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM,’ alongside a waving emoji.

Somebody explain why Matthew is barely in the photo please (Picture: Instagram)

Turns out it’s actually really hard to fit six people into a selfie…

Jen joining Instagram wasn’t enough for fans to not mock her for her questionable camera quality.

One fan posted: ‘Is it just me or is Jennifer Aniston’s Friends reunion pic a first draft selfie at best? Bad framing, obstructed faces, weird limbs… this moment deserved a retake.’

In her defence, she’s Jennifer Aniston and she amassed almost nine million followers with a bad phone camera, so who’s the real winner here?
