SANDER van Doorn has been a force to be reckoned with for the best part of two decades shifting through the gears of electro, trance, progressive and tech trance over the years.
After a hugely successful 2019, which took him all over Asia, Europe and North America, Sander enters the new decade as he wishes to continue, in full force. Dedicating solid time to the studio over the past few months, Sander has an abundance of new music ready for release and is gearing up to get back on tour. Heading back to the UK this Saturday, Sander will be playing under his ‘sharper, darker, rougher’ Purple Haze alias at London’s legendary venue, fabric.

Purple Haze – You & Me
This is one of my Purple Haze releases from 2019 and definitely one of my favorites. The process of this track was quite different than a usual Purple Haze track because I made this one with the Belgium band Goose. We just started with some studio jamming and this came out from my end! They made a Goose remix of the track that’s more their sound!
Bottai – Nunc – (Purple Haze edit)
When I heard this track from Bottai for the first time, I absolutely loved it and wanted to work on it immediately! The track has a old school kind of feeling and I really like that!
Gardenstate – Bloom (Solarstone retouch)
Already loved the original version by Gardenstate – the melody is amazing! I love what Solarstone did with the track! Great new mix!
Quench – Dreams (Umek version)
Love the drive in the track, as well as the trancy vibe in it! It does wonders in the clubs wherever I play it!
GNTN – Tensions (cid inc remix)
I really love the moody vibe paired with the beautiful vocals. It has a nice chill build up and really creates the right feeling on the dance floor.
Purple Haze – Surrender
Also one of my releases of 2019 and definitely one of my favorites of the year. Had so much fun while producing this and wanted create the perfect climax. Combined with the vocals it definitely has the darker Purple Haze touch to it.
Zonderling x No Sign – Clouds
Pretty much love all tracks of Zonderling and this track together with No Sign is definitely in my top 3 best Zonderling tracks! It also has a lot of moody elements in the track and a very strong drop.
Marco V – Avalon
Marco V is one of my all time favourite producers. Avalon really feels like he’s going back to his roots. Nice techy beats combined with aggressive synths.
Calvin Logue & Exit 11 – Stay With Me
This track is here now for a couple of months, but is still one of my favourites of the moment. Combined with a strong techno under layer with very spacey synths – it’s a great track to create the energy in a club or at a festival!
Mark Sixma pres. M6 – Fade 2 Black (Khomha remix)
Mark Sixma has been making quite a few strong tracks and this one is really one of those tracks! love what Khomha did with the track. Really cool melody in the breakdown and Khomha’s trademark is marking the drop with a lot of energy.
