Sam Smith has been busy melting hearts at the Attitude Awards as they rocked a stunning kimono.

The Dancing With A Stranger hitmaker giggled away as they celebrated scooping up the Person Of The Year award, as well as hanging out with the likes of Cheryl and Dustin Lance Black.

The star rocked a sheer green kimono, paired with matching trousers, and could be seen beaming throughout the night.

Posting videos to their Instagram Stories, Sam made it clear that no night out is complete without a bathroom makeup session, as they filmed a room full of stars touching up their looks.

After Sam came out as non-binary in March, they recently penned a gorgeous message about using they/them pronouns.

The 27-year-old singer posted a photo with the words: ‘My pronouns are they/them.’

They then captioned the photo: ‘Today is a good day so here goes. I’ve decided I am changing my pronouns to THEY/THEM.

‘After a lifetime of being at war with my gender, I’ve decided to embrace myself for who I am, inside and out. I’m so excited and privileged to be surrounded by people that support me in this decision but I’ve been very nervous about announcing this because I care too much about what people think but f**k it!’

‘I understand there will be many mistakes and misgendering but all I ask is you please, please try. I hope you can see me like I see myself now. Thank you,’ they wrote.

Despite backlash from the likes of Piers Morgan, Sam looks to have been loving life after changing their pronouns, recently sharing a video twerking on the Brooklyn Bridge.

It’s gotta be done, right?

Elsewhere at the Attitude Awards, Gareth Thomas left everyone in tears by thanking his husband for his support following his decision to reveal his HIV diagnosis.

‘I can’t believe I can stand here when six months ago I came to the conclusion my life was over, so I want to thank everyone in this room,’ he said.

‘There are two special people in this room I have to thank, my husband and my stepdaughter.

‘Because generally, behind closed doors, when I live in absolute fear being rejected and turned away and not being supported, those two people stood by me and gave me the strength to stand here today so as much as I may be the game-changer, I am only that because they made my life possible.’

Well, now we’re emotional.
