Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan leads the glamorous arrivals at the Outlander season five premiere in Hollywood
This magical period piece has been on the air since 2014, and the fifth season is set to debut this Sunday on Starz — or even sooner.
The major players from Outlander were present to support the Golden Globe- and Emmy-nominated series on Thursday night, as the latest season celebrated its premiere at concert venue the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California.
Chief among the guests were series leads Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan, who were chic in fine and formal black evening wear.

Caitriona was almost falling out of her black evening gown, which featured a cap-sleeved sheer panel at the top, and a bow affixed just above the empire waist.
The skirt of her gown was cascading layers of fabric with sheer overlay.
Heughan complemented his Outlander leading lady in a crisp black double-breasted suit, along with a white dress shirt featuring a band collar.
At the event, the show’s stars got together for a special announcement — the first episode of season five will actually be available for viewing as of Friday at midnight, a few days earlier than expected, for those who have the Starz app.
