Home and Away star Sam Frost’s boyfriend Dave Bashford is busted with cocaine at a Bondi Beach bar during police raids
Dave Bashford, the boyfriend of Home and Away star Sam Frost, has pleaded guilty to the charge of possessing cocaine.
The 27-year-old defence worker was busted at the Beach Road Hotel in Bondi Beach on May 4 during a covert police drug operation.
According to court documents, Dave was seen acting suspiciously when uniformed police and a drug detection dog walked onto the premises.

Dave pleaded guilty to the charge at Waverley Local Court in Sydney on June 4 and he will be sentenced there on June 25.
Sam, 30, who has been dating Dave since 2017, has reportedly been struggling since her boyfriend’s arrest.
A source told Woman’s Day on Monday: ‘She’s been struggling with the whole situation.

‘It’s been a complete blow to her… Sam is extremely private and protective of Dave and their relationship, and something like this happening just puts such a strain on them.’
Sam confirmed her relationship with the navy diver, with whom she had been friends for a long time, in July 2017.
At the time, she told The Daily Telegraph: ‘I feel really blessed to have a friendship that has turned into something more.
‘It’s nice to be able to share [my career success] with him.’

Sam previously told TV Week that she feels ‘protective’ of Dave due to the media interest in their lives.
‘I do feel protective. I like having an element of my life that’s private – it’s important to treasure it,’ she said last year.
Before dating Dave, Sam was in a relationship with Sasha Mielczarek, whom she met on The Bachelorette in 2015. They broke up after 18 months together.
