Sally Lindsay: Coronation Street star takes dramatic tumble as she exits Pride Of Britain

Coronation Street actresses Sally Lindsay and Helen Flanagan looked like they’d had a very fun evening indeed yesterday.

The former, who played Corrie fave Shelly Unwin from 2001-2006, stumbled out of last night’s Pride of Britain Awards 2019.

The popular actress, 46, struggled to leave the Grosvenor House bash and almost hit the ground as she took a tumble.

Dressed in a glamorous velveteen green dress and matching heels, security and fellow revellers helped her back onto her feet.

The famous face was clearly in good spirits and laughed off the debacle as she got back up.

Shortly after her recovery, she warmly greeted TV personality and former footballer Chris Kamara.

Meanwhile, Helen Flanagan looked a little worse for wear as she was photographed leaving the ceremony.

The Weatherfield star, who has played Rosie Webster on the soap since 2000, wore a figure-hugging bustier style mini dress and rocked a Kim Kardashian-esque wet look hairdo.

While looking remarkably polished on the red carpet, she looked slightly partied out leaving the Awards.

Bleary eyed as she was guided to her taxi by her guest, she was then photographed slumped over in the backseat of a taxi.

With her tresses covering her face as she hung her head, Helen definitely seemed to have enjoyed her time at the bash.

The Corrie actresses weren’t the only ones who seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed themselves last night.

Actress and I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! contestant Emily Atack looked very jolly as she left the do.

Wowing in a black strapless dress and showing off her new brunette do, The Inbetweeners actress looked sensational.

Her attendance was one of her first public appearances since revealing all on her split from film producer boyfriend Rob Jowers to OK! Magazine.

Emily told the mag that she still felt “raw” after splitting from her boyfriend of six months.

She said: “It’s been a very, very tough time and it’s still very raw.

“Luckily, I’ve got so many things happening in my life to distract me from the fact I’m incredibly sad.

“But I know the drill and I’ve got over boys before.”

She added: “Heartbreak gets harder to deal with as you get older as you pin your hopes on things.

“I so wanted this to be my happy ending.”
