The star explained in her Mirror column that she felt as if it was time to try new experiences after being on the programme for half a decade.
Although it was a “difficult decision” Saira has now chosen to focus on new business ventures including her own skincare brand.
She continued: “I think I’ve shown everyone I’m an opinionated, strong woman, but now I want to focus on pursuing other media projects, running my skincare business, Saira Skin, and developing my love for wellness.
“Others too have found that Covid has given them the kick they needed to quit jobs that don’t bring them satisfaction, and to try something new.”
