SAG nominations 2021: here's the list in full, with The Crown, Bridgerton and The Queen's Gambit up for awards

It’s been quite the week for award season nominations and shortly after the Golden Globes 2021 announced their shortlisters, the Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, aka SAGs, followed – and it seems British stars are leading the way again.

The 27th Screen Actors Guild Awards are set to take place on 4 April, three months later than they usually happen due to the pandemic.

The Crown is up for five SAGs, more than any other series, after getting six Golden Globe nominations this week. Olivia Colman, Emma Corrin and Gillian Anderson are going head-to-head for the Female Actor in a Drama Series award, while their co-star Josh O’Connor was nominated alongside Bridgerton‘s Rege-Jean Page for the Male Actor in a Drama Series award.

I May Destroy You’s Michaela Coel has been recognised in the Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series gong after missing out in the Golden Globe nomination, while Vanessa Kirby and Carey Mulligan have been nominated in the Female Actor in a Leading Role in a Motion Picture category.

Also joining the Brits hoping to win at the SAG Awards is Daniel Kaluuya, who has been nominated for the Male Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for Judas and the Black Messiah.

Elsewhere, Hugh Grant also made the shortlist in the Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series category for his role in The Undoing and Nicholas Hoult is up for the Male Actor in a Comedy Series category for his role in The Great.
