Safaree Samuels and estranged wife Erica Mena welcome their second child amid divorce proceedings
Safaree Samuels is a father once again, revealing on social media that he has welcomed his second child with estranged wife Erica Mena.
The 39-year-old rapper and Love & Hip-Hop star took to his Instagram revealing a photo of him with his newborn baby boy, stating, ‘MR Straittt jr is here!’
He also took to his Instagram story on Monday, sharing a photo of the newborn’s tiny hand around his finger.
Newborn: Safaree Samuels is a father once again, revealing on social media that he has welcomed his second child with estranged wife Erica Mena.
‘Another me… That’s all the world needed,’ Samuels said in the caption of the snap, though Mena, 33, has yet to share the news to her fans.
Samuels also shared a photoshopped image of him with a baby bump, adding, ‘Who’s next?’
The birth of this child comes just a month after Mena filed for divorce in late May, just weeks after announcing their new child.

The couple were engaged on Christmas Eve 2018, before tying the knot in early October 2019.
Mena welcomed their first child, daughter Safire Majesty Samuels, in early February 2020.
The couple announced the second child in early May in a now-deleted Instagram post with Safaree stating, ‘Safire got a new sibling. New baby who dis?? #2under2 time to get neutered now I need a chef and a nanny.’

Just a few weeks later, Mena filed for divorce in Fayette County Superior Court in Georgia, where they both reside and where they tied the knot in 2019.
Court documents revealed that Mena is seeking primary physical custody of their child Safire, though she is also willing to share joint legal custody of the child with Safaree.
The court documents also added that their marriage is, ‘irretrievably broken’ with ‘no hope of reconciliation.’
