Borat sent a hilarious birthday message to Katy Perry but caught us off guard after calling Orlando Bloom her ‘husband.’

Everyone’s favourite Kazakh journalist filmed a video message for Katy’s 36th birthday at Orlando’s request.

‘@katyperry your dream come true birthday message my love HAPPY BIRTHDAY @boratsagdiyev 🤣,’ Orlando wrote on his Instagram alongside the video.

‘Jagshemash (How are you?) Katy Pepsi?’ Borat said after an awkward moment of silence.

‘I was planning on going sailing in Florida and so I make an internet search for Orlando water sports but instead Mr Google sent me a picture of your husband with his khrum out.’

He continued: ‘He have a very good one. It must be nice to see Orlando Bloom. You have a very nice birthday. A lot of cream on your cake, why not?’

The Firework singer also shared the video and added: ‘Omg’.

The happy couple recently welcomed the arrival of their baby girl in August and confirmed they named her Daisy Dove Bloom.

This is Katy’s first child and Orlando’s second after nine-year-old son Flynn, who he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.

The Lord of the Rings actor proposed to Katy on Valentine’s Day in 2019 and so far there hasn’t been any word on whether they’ve tied the knot.

The couple previously pushed back their wedding yet again to make way for their daughter’s birth after the pandemic put a spanner in the works.

Katy insisted she has been pretty chilled out about their big day and dubbed herself a ‘bridechilla’ instead of a ‘bridezilla’.

She would have been the ultimate ‘bridechilla’ if they got married during quarantine.
