Sabrina Spellman Goes Straight to Hell in Spooky Pop Video

The last time we saw Sabrina Spellman, she was sitting with friends Harvey, Roz and Theo at their local haunt in Greendale. She made a startling proposal to them: “Let’s go to hell and get my boyfriend back!”

In the first look at Season 3 of Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, out January 24th, Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka) stars in a music video titled “Straight to Hell.” The spooky pop track opens with Sabrina in her classic red hood in front of a full moon, singing about retrieving her boyfriend Nick (Gavin Leatherwood) from the depths of hell. “I’m not afraid to take that chance, ’cause let me tell ya,” she sings, “When it comes to love, I’m going straight to hell.”

Harvey (real-life musician Ross Lynch) shreds the guitar as glimpses of Season 3 flash across the screen. Sabrina dons a Baxter High cheerleader uniform, while in another scene she hugs Nick, who turns out to be the Dark Lord. It concludes with her waking up from a nightmare, sweating and frightened.

Based on the Sixties Archie Comics character, Sabrina puts a dark, modern spin on the classic comic — the story of a half-mortal, half-witch muddling through the world. Like hit show Riverdale (based on the Archie Comics), Sabrina was adapted by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa — the Chief Creative Officer of Archie Comics.

Over the past two seasons, Sabrina strove to find a place in both the witch a mortal world, but closed out Season 2 by signing The Book of the Beast and becoming an official witch. Along the way, she parted ways with her mortal boyfriend, Harvey, and hooked with Nick, a warlock. We also meet the Dark Lord in the flesh (played by Luke Cook), who tells Sabrina he is her real father and that she must assume the throne as Queen of Hell. The season concludes with Sabrina sending the Dark Lord back to hell, only inside the body of Nick.
