RYLAN Clark-Neal collapsed in tears after completing his 24-hour karaoke challenge, which raised almost £1million for Children In Need.

The former X Factor finalist was crooning along to Tina Turner’s The Best earlier this morning when he got the good news.

Clearly exhausted, Rylan immediately collapsed to the floor when Zoe gave him the go-ahead, crying tears of joy for completing the gruelling task.

Zoe then told her overwhelmed pal that he had raised an impressive £845,239 – which was already up £100,000 from the total given just 30 minutes earlier.

Before he presumably headed off to bed, Rylan tweeted his fans: “I’m not really with it, but can’t thank you enough for all your donations for @BBCCiN #KaRYoke on @BBCRadio2.

“Nearly 900K now I can’t believe it. Thank you xx”.

While he was the only one to complete the full 24 hours, Rylan’s spirits were kept up as he was joined by surprise celebrity guests while singing.

Craig David, Frankie Bridge, and Michelle Visage were among the famous faces to show their support – with Rylan’s husband Dan Neal also making an appearance.

Rylan took on the challenge for this year’s Children In Need, with the annual telethon hitting our screens for 2019 this Friday [15 November].

In addition to his karaoke task, Rylan will also be presenting part of the show night on the night, with Tess Daly, Marvin and Rochelle Humes also among the names hosting the show.
