Ryanair flights are famously low in price and the carrier is well-known for being no-frills. Passengers travelling with budget airlines cannot always expect the same standards as with traditional carriers. One key gripe of many plane travellers on cheaper airlines is the seating.
One seat on Ryanair planes is a window seat… without a window.
If one sits in seat 11A one will simply find a white plastic wall panel where the window normally is.
According to The Telegraph’s digital travel editor Oliver Smith, this is the case on all Ryanair aircraft.
For those who choose to select their own seat when booking a Ryanair flight – 11A is not the one for you if you want to be able to see the outside world.

Smith also revealed the 11F and 12F seats on the opposite side of the Boeing 737-800 model also have no window.
Ryanair customers are not kept in the dark regarding the seat’s lack of window, however.
Travellers are warned of the absence during the booking process.
A small pop-up box on the website cautions: “This seat has no window,” says when the customer hovers over the seats.
The airline has an article dedicated to seat hacks on its website and 11A gets a mention.
“Red-eye warrior? Not a lot of people realise that seat 11A has no window, meaning it’s the perfect seat if you’re planning to catch up on some zzzs during a morning flight,” explains the Ryanair site.
“This seat is also a little life-saver late at night when you’ve spent the day travelling and all you want is a few minutes of shut-eye.”
