Destinations under a fiver include Milan and Pisa in Italy, along with Marseille and Toulouse in France and Santander in Spain.

There are also bargains to Germany, Prague, Slovakia and Poland where return flights are less than a tenner.

Other flights for less than £10 include Ibiza, Tenerife and Malaga, as well as Greek islands Corfu and Rhodes. Faro and Lisbon in Portugal are just £8.99 each way.

While the flights must be booked by tonight, the flights are available when travelling between June 15 and June 30.

However, all of the countries are still on the amber list, which require a 10-day UK quarantine and the government have advised against holidaying to.

Travellers should also check the entry restrictions for flying – non-vaccinated Brits cannot travel to France unless they have an essential reason, while Germany has banned Brits due to the Delta variant.

Only Spain is allowing Brits to enter without restriction, while Italy requires a negative Covid test.

Greece required a negative Covid test or proof of vaccination while Portugal will let Brits enter with just an antigen test.

Brits who book the flights can change them for free with Ryanair’s Zero Change Fee, although will have to cover the fare difference.

Changes must also be made at least seven days before departure.

TUI has cancelled most of their flights until July 11, while OnTheBeach has stopped selling holidays until August.

Experts have warned that more countries may not be added to the green list before August due to the Delta variant.

Spain tourism chiefs are not expecting Brits until September unless the situation improves.
